FAQ'S - Please Read
"Do you stock synthetic fabrics, polyester, silk, felt, embroidery thread, zips, wool or crochet cotton?"
The home shop has a far larger selection of fabrics and notions than are on view here and I have put up some of the most popular items for viewing. The fabrics I sell are all 100% cotton used in the making of patchwork quilts and I really have no room or plans to stock anything other than patchworking products.
"When can I see your shop and where is it?"
Because the shop is a part-time business it is open by appointment only. Once you make contact then I can give directions - it is approx 5 mins from Exit 13 of the M50.
The shop is not on the high street
"What is a fat quarter?"
A fat quarter of fabric is a 1/4 mtre (or yard), the 'fat' meaning a quarter square of the fabric - if you require a 'long' quarter (a quarter across the total width of fabric), please let me know by leaving a comment in the box provided at Checkout. "How do I order a metre of fabric?"
Increase the number in the Quantity Box (at Checkout) to 4 for a metre, if you want 3/4 of a metre then increase the Quantity to 3 and so on. "Why is the cost of shipping Wadding so expensive?" Shipping Costs are calculated by reference to the weight but also the size of product - even though Wadding is quite light - the bulk sets the price in this case.
"I live in the UK but particularly want to order something from your site?"
We occasionally accept Overseas orders in which case we will raise a PayPal invoice after working out the shipping costs - the Irish postal costs can seem quite high to overseas customers. Please make contact by email.
"Is there a limit to the amount I can order?"
Due to weight considerations there are limitations to the amount you can order - free delivery is possible to surrounding counties where an order exceeds €100 or in the cases where an item is unsuitable for posting. The Order/Contact Line is not always manned - please leave a slow message and I will get back to you as soon as is possible.
